What's in your bowl?

 



     Somehow last night I found myself drawn back into logging another little reminder of how goes my life. A day in the ... If you have read my other "ditties" on here so far then it is no secret to you that I am not a sun-worshiper in any way, shape or form. Now that being said it was about time for dinner to roll around again. 

(I have found my nitch with having my Protein Shake about noon then close to 2:30 or 3:00pm I grab a Bang to sip on until it is time for my evening sit down. Something that works for me.)

     Back to the heat show. I knew what I wanted but also knew I was just not in the right mind to want to fix it. When I think of Summer, I think of something cool, quick but also filling. No stress. No mess. No dishes. Salad right? Right! That is what I went with tonight. Of course I had to figure out what I wanted to put in it and then I needed to go to the store to buy those items. Easy lemons or whatever it is the kids say now a days?!

     Because I did promise in my second hand bio that I would add some Keto yums, I will put down what I added to make this the perfect meal for a top 70* weather day. Just know though that the whole time I was eating this and with every crunch, my mind was thinking about tomorrow nights grub, being the "fatty" that I am Or excuse me - should I say "food connoisseur?"

Crab Salad: I started out with a bag of lettuce which had carrots as well as cabbage and cucumbers. I added some sliced mushrooms, black olives, shredded cheese and crab meat. I then topped it off with Parmesan Vinaigrette Dressing and dug in. The whole thing was only 317 calories and I was unable to finish it all. *I could eat this a few more times in the next few months and I would be okay with that.
