  My Grandmother's birthday has got to be one of the hardest days to get through since I lost her in 2001. I wrote this awhile back but with September 11th being tomorrow, I thought this might be the right time to share it. I had planned on taking Shurree' out to see Skye today. She has been asking me for a long time, to get pictures of her three kids together. I try so hard to avoid it. Nothing to do with the child. Just not something I am able to handle. Still. It was Mom's day though so I thought I would brave it out. At least attempt too. I wanted to go by my old residence as well. Bike Capital of The Northwest. Wendy's. My first job. The Redmond House. The one I will always call home. Drive up the Old Windy past Adrian's. Maybe stop by my schools? The High School. Home of The Mustangs.         Since I started this blog, I have only been writing about my Keto journey so far and yes, I know it has only been about 3 days but still I did promise myself at the start that I would be doing this so maybe one day my kids could look back at a low point, getting some kind of kick out of what a kook their Mother could be.  I am going to step away from the kitchen for a moment so that you can know just how a day can start around here for me.      Awhile back, years ago, my daughter Saisha who resides in Montana had pretty much begged me to watch her cat for about 2 weeks while she moved. Now this cat, Sammy was no ordinary cat. He was a larger then life tiger. I swear to you that he must have weighed 50 pounds or more. He was a beauty though with long orange and white fur.                                         Day 153. Is that even believable?       I can answer that in just two letters. No.  Even more unbelievable is that there are only 213 more days left until we start to "ring" in a new year. I mean like, what? How even?      How even? There is a question that I am unable to answer.  Beings that 1/2 of the 2024 year is already over: have I done anything I took the time to write on paper during the end of the 2023 glitter fest happening around me? I can answer that in two letters too. No.      Maybe it has something to do with the fact that all the seasons seem off this year? Can I blame it on that?
