        Since I started this blog, I have only been writing about my Keto journey so far and yes, I know it has only been about 3 days but still I did promise myself at the start that I would be doing this so maybe one day my kids could look back at a low point, getting some kind of kick out of what a kook their Mother could be.  I am going to step away from the kitchen for a moment so that you can know just how a day can start around here for me.      Awhile back, years ago, my daughter Saisha who resides in Montana had pretty much begged me to watch her cat for about 2 weeks while she moved.   My Grandmother's birthday has got to be one of the hardest days to get through since I lost her in 2001. I wrote this awhile back but with September 11th being tomorrow, I thought this might be the right time to share it. I had planned on taking Shurree' out to see Skye today. She has been asking me for a long time, to get pictures of her three kids together. I try so hard to avoid it. Nothing to do with the child. Just not something I am able to handle. Still. It was Mom's day though so I thought I would brave it out. At least attempt too. I wanted to go by my old residence as well. Bike Capital of The Northwest. Wendy's. My first job. The Redmond House. The one I will always call home. Drive up the Old Windy past Adrian's. Maybe stop by my schools? The High School. Home of The Mustangs. Chalk it up to Me being Me!

  I sit here eagerly  awaiting the snows first arrival of W inter  2022-2023 kick off while I take small sips of my mock Starbucks coffee. It is cookie dough flavored today. Straight up black coffee with Toll House creamer and a small swirl of keto whipping  cream that was left over from an uneaten 4 slices of pumpkin pie. The drink tastes nothing like the "real" stuff but who am I to complain really? I am just happy to have some calm before I start a night shift.      Yesterday teased me into a frenzy . I spent most of the evening looking towards the blackened sky hoping for ... well, you get it. If we don't dream- dreams can't come true. I am still finding my gaze is  upwards  towards the quick forming clouds. It is 38* right now so anything that falls to Earth around here will  only be water in its drippy-est form.
